Biltrx GLP-1 Review: $81 Semaglutide Headlines, the Fees Behind Them, and Who It Suits

Biltrx is a men's-health-leaning telehealth platform that also does TRT, NAD+, ED and hair loss. This review sticks to its GLP-1 weight-loss program.

The short version

  • Biltrx lists compounded semaglutide at $81/mo and compounded tirzepatide at $129/mo, among the lowest medication prices we've seen published.
  • Those are medication prices. Biltrx's FAQ adds a $9.99/mo membership, and says consultation fees are billed separately without publishing the amount.
  • It also lists brand-name Wegovy, Ozempic, Zepbound and Mounjaro at full cash prices ($1,449 to $1,849 a month).
  • Subscriptions auto-renew; cancel at least two days before the renewal date, and partly used periods aren't refunded.
  • Biltrx names its medical groups and pharmacies, though its homepage and terms list different pharmacies.

Biltrx publishes some of the lowest compounded GLP-1 medication prices around: $81 a month for semaglutide and $129 a month for tirzepatide. Those numbers don't include everything, though. Biltrx charges a $9.99 monthly membership and bills consultation fees separately without listing the amount, so your real monthly cost is higher than the headline. It's a reasonable fit if you already use Biltrx for testosterone or other services and want weight-loss care in the same account. If you're only after a GLP-1, compare all-in prices before choosing it.

We haven't been Biltrx patients. This review is built from the company's published pricing, policies, pharmacy disclosures, and regulatory records as of October 2026.

What Biltrx offers for weight loss

Biltrx calls itself a cash-pay telehealth platform. Its weight-loss line has two tracks:

  • Compounded: semaglutide and tirzepatide, which Biltrx labels "not FDA approved" on its own pages.
  • Brand-name: Wegovy and Ozempic (semaglutide) and Zepbound and Mounjaro (tirzepatide), labeled FDA-approved.

We didn't see an oral GLP-1 on its weight-loss pages. Outside weight loss, Biltrx sells testosterone therapy, menopause hormone therapy, ED treatment, hair-loss treatment, NAD+ (injection, nasal spray, and cream), glutathione, lipo-C, and B12. It has an insurance coverage check form, but its FAQ only describes card and HSA/FSA card payment, so assume cash-pay unless Biltrx tells you otherwise.

Ozempic and Mounjaro are approved for type 2 diabetes, not weight management. Wegovy and Zepbound carry the weight-management approvals. If a prescriber offers you one of the diabetes brands for weight loss, ask why; our guide on how prescribers choose between Wegovy, Zepbound, and compounded options explains the reasoning.

Pricing, and what isn't in the headline

MedicationBiltrx listed priceType
Semaglutide$81/moCompounded
Tirzepatide$129/moCompounded
Ozempic$1,449/moBrand
Mounjaro$1,499/moBrand
Zepbound$1,499/moBrand
Wegovy$1,849/moBrand

Three things to know about these prices:

  1. Membership is extra. Biltrx's FAQ lists a $9.99 monthly membership covering care coordination, priority support, and member savings on supplements.
  2. Consults are extra, and unpriced. The FAQ says consultation fees are billed separately from the membership. Its terms add that subscription prices that include a provider consult include the amount the medical group charges. Neither page gives a dollar figure. Ask for it before you start.
  3. Compare the brand prices. Wegovy and Zepbound are also sold through manufacturer self-pay programs, which may cost less than what Biltrx lists. Check LillyDirect and NovoCare pricing before paying $1,499 or more a month through any telehealth company.

The pages we reviewed show one monthly price per compounded drug, without a separate dose ladder. Confirm whether the price holds as your dose increases, since that's where many compounded programs change their pricing.

What's included

Biltrx describes an online intake reviewed by a licensed provider, with plan adjustments over time. It doesn't say whether follow-up visits or lab work are included for GLP-1 patients; its FAQ says some treatments, especially hormone therapy, require labs. Shipping cost isn't stated. The FAQ says prescriptions are usually processed in one to three business days and most patients receive them three to seven business days after approval.

Renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Biltrx's terms of service set out the subscription rules:

  • Auto-renewal. Your card is charged automatically at each interval until you cancel. The first renewal may be charged early, and later shipments may be charged and shipped up to two days early.
  • Cancellation notice. Cancel at least two days before the renewal processing date, by email (care@biltrx.com), phone, or your online account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You can also pause.
  • Refunds. No refunds for partially used periods, though Biltrx may grant them case by case. Orders can't be canceled once a provider approves the prescription.
  • Disputes. Binding AAA arbitration, with an informal conference first and a 30-day window to opt out of arbitration after you first accept the terms.
Tip

Because renewals can be charged up to two days early, set your cancellation reminder at least four or five days before the renewal date, not the day before.

Medical groups, pharmacies, and certifications

Who prescribes

Biltrx's terms name Bask Health and OpenLoop as medical groups, and its telehealth consent references additional OpenLoop-affiliated and other entities. Naming the medical group is more than many competitors do, and it gives you someone specific to ask about your records.

Who dispenses

This is where Biltrx's disclosures conflict. Its homepage names Southend Pharmacy and Boothwyn Pharmacy as compounding pharmacies that fill and mail prescriptions. Its terms of service name GoGo Meds and Tailor Made Compounding Pharmacy. Its GLP-1 page and FAQ describe licensed US 503A compounding pharmacies without names. Any of these may be current, but you should ask which pharmacy will fill your prescription and then verify that pharmacy's license in your state. Our pharmacy verification guide shows how.

LegitScript and regulatory checks

Biltrx's homepage describes it as LegitScript-certified and links to a verification. Its Awin affiliate profile also describes it as LegitScript-certified. We did not find an FDA warning letter addressed to Biltrx; that check relied partly on a third-party warning-letter tracker, so search FDA's database yourself if this matters to your decision. We found no state enforcement action in what we reviewed.

The company

The terms identify BiltRx Inc. and list a notice address in Heath, Texas; the site footer lists a Houston, Texas address. Biltrx says availability varies by state, and its state-availability page uses an interactive map we couldn't read, so check your state during intake.

Biltrx next to other compounded options

Biltrx's medication prices are the lowest we found published among the providers we've reviewed this month, but it's the only one of them that adds both a membership and a separately billed consult. Here's how the published numbers compare:

ProviderSemaglutideTirzepatideExtra fees disclosed
Biltrx$81/mo$129/mo$9.99/mo membership; consult fee not published
HealthRX$165/mo monthly; about $97/mo on 12 months$214/mo monthly; about $177/mo on 12 monthsNone; no visit or membership fee
GobyMeds$299 for a 3-month starter bundle$399 for a 3-month starter bundle$50 review fee may apply if you cancel after review
NewSelfAs low as $99.97/moAs low as $144.49/moEarly-cancellation fee within the 3-month commitment

On medication plus membership alone, Biltrx's semaglutide works out to about $91 a month. Whether it stays the cheapest depends on the consult fee and how often it's charged, which is why that's the first question to ask.

Using Biltrx alongside other services

Biltrx's membership is one fee across its services, so the math looks better if you're also using it for something else. If you're combining a GLP-1 with testosterone or another treatment, make sure the same prescriber sees your full medication list. GLP-1s slow stomach emptying, which can affect how some oral medications are absorbed; our guide to GLP-1 interactions with other prescriptions explains what to flag at intake.

Who Biltrx fits

Best for multi-service patients

Biltrx

Biltrx makes the most sense if you already want testosterone, NAD+, or another Biltrx service and would like GLP-1 care under the same membership. Its low compounded medication prices and named medical groups are real strengths. The unpublished consult fee and conflicting pharmacy lists are the weak spots.

  • Low listed compounded prices ($81 and $129 a month)
  • Brand and compounded options in one place
  • Names its medical groups and pharmacy partners
  • Membership fee plus consult fees not published
  • Brand prices worth checking against manufacturer programs
  • Homepage and terms list different pharmacies

Alternatives

  • All-in pricing: HealthRX publishes a plan-by-plan price table with no separate visit or membership fee.
  • No subscription at all: GobyMeds sells compounded bundles as one-time orders with no auto-renewal.
  • Brand-name at lower cash prices: see our manufacturer savings guide.
  • Side-by-side math: our 15-provider cost comparison.

Questions to ask Biltrx before you pay

  1. "What is the consultation fee, and how often is it charged?" Get a number, and whether it repeats with each refill.
  2. "What's my total first-month charge?" Medication plus membership plus consult plus shipping.
  3. "Does the price change at higher doses?" Ask for the price at the dose you'd likely reach in month three or four.
  4. "Which pharmacy will fill my prescription?" Then check its license and whether it's a 503A pharmacy.
  5. "When exactly does my renewal process?" Note it, and set a reminder several days earlier.
  6. Know your red flags. Severe or persistent abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, signs of dehydration, or an allergic reaction need prompt medical care. Dose decisions stay with your prescriber.
How much does Biltrx really cost per month for compounded semaglutide?

Biltrx lists the medication at $81 a month. Its FAQ adds a $9.99 monthly membership and says consultation fees are billed separately, without publishing the amount. Ask for your full first-month total before checking out.

Does Biltrx offer Wegovy or Zepbound?

Yes. Biltrx lists Wegovy at $1,849, Zepbound and Mounjaro at $1,499, and Ozempic at $1,449 a month. Compare those against the manufacturers' own self-pay programs before paying.

How do I cancel Biltrx?

Email care@biltrx.com, call Biltrx, or cancel in your account at least two days before your renewal processing date. Because renewals can be charged up to two days early, cancel with a few extra days of margin.

Which pharmacy does Biltrx use?

Its homepage names Southend Pharmacy and Boothwyn Pharmacy, while its terms name GoGo Meds and Tailor Made Compounding Pharmacy. Ask which one will fill your order and verify it before your first shipment.

Can I use Biltrx just for weight loss?

Yes. GLP-1 weight-loss care is one of its service lines, and you don't need to sign up for testosterone or other treatments to use it.
