The short version
- GobyMeds sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide plus brand Zepbound ($1,399/mo) and Wegovy ($1,695/mo).
- There's no membership, no subscription and no auto-renewal; each order is a single payment and refills are new orders.
- Compounded prices depend on dose: a first-time 3-month starter bundle is $299 for semaglutide and $399 for tirzepatide, rising at higher doses.
- Cancel before clinical review for a full refund; after review, a $50 review fee may apply, and dispensed medication is final sale.
- New patients can take $25 off a first order with code x7X72r through our link.
GobyMeds is a telehealth platform that sells GLP-1 treatment as one-time orders rather than a subscription. You buy a one-, two-, or three-month bundle, and nothing renews unless you place another order. Compounded prices step up with dose, and brand-name Zepbound and Wegovy are available at cash prices. If auto-renewing subscriptions make you nervous, or you want to pay per bundle as your dose changes, GobyMeds is one of the cleaner setups we've reviewed. The trade-offs are an unnamed pharmacy network and refund terms that tighten once a clinician has reviewed your order.
We haven't been GobyMeds patients. This review is built from the company's published pricing, policies, pharmacy disclosures, and regulatory records as of October 2026.
What GobyMeds offers
For weight loss, GobyMeds lists:
- Compounded semaglutide (weekly injection)
- Compounded tirzepatide (weekly injection)
- Brand-name Zepbound and Wegovy, with Mounjaro and Ozempic also mentioned in its FAQ
We didn't find an oral GLP-1 on its weight-loss pages. GobyMeds also sells NAD+, hair-loss treatment, testosterone therapy, and sermorelin, but this review sticks to GLP-1s.
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide aren't FDA-approved products. If you haven't decided between brand and compounded yet, our guide to brand-name vs. compounded prescriptions explains the differences that matter.
Pricing: bundles priced by dose
Unlike flat-rate competitors, GobyMeds prices compounded bundles by the dose you're prescribed. These are its listed prices in late October 2026:
Compounded semaglutide
| Bundle | Dose range | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 3-month starter (first-time patients) | Starter | $299 total |
| 3-month | 0.2 to 0.4 mg | $299 |
| 3-month | 0.6 to 1.5 mg | $399 |
| 3-month | 1.9 to 2.3 mg | $499 |
| 2-month | Any dose | from $299 |
| Single month | Any dose | from $169 |
Compounded tirzepatide
| Bundle | Dose range | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 3-month starter (first-time patients) | Starter | $399 total |
| 3-month | 1.5 to 3 mg/week | $399 |
| 3-month | up to 9 mg/week | $499 |
| 3-month | 11 mg/week or higher | $599 |
| 2-month | Based on highest weekly dose | from $399 |
| Single month | Any dose | from $299 |
Brand-name
GobyMeds lists Zepbound at $1,399 a month and Wegovy at $1,695 a month. It doesn't list dose-based brand pricing. Before paying those prices, compare the manufacturers' own self-pay programs in our LillyDirect and NovoCare guide.
One reason to choose brand-name through GobyMeds rather than compounded is consistency: Zepbound and Wegovy are FDA-approved, made by the manufacturer, and dispensed as sealed pens. Another is continuity: if your insurance may cover a brand-name drug later, staying on that product makes the switch simpler. Our guide to switching from compounded to brand-name explains what changes when you move between them.
What's included
GobyMeds says compounded bundles include the medication for the plan length, shipping, the consultation, and an injection kit. Its homepage adds provider follow-ups and dose adjustments, unlimited portal messaging, cold-packed shipping in as little as two to three days, and HSA/FSA acceptance. It doesn't bill insurance. Lab work is listed as an extra cost for testosterone therapy; the pricing page doesn't list labs for GLP-1s.
A $299 semaglutide starter bundle works out to roughly $100 a month, and the $399 tirzepatide starter to about $133 a month. Once your dose rises, the next bundle may move into a higher price tier, so budget for the dose you're likely to reach in months four through six, not just the starter price.
Ordering, cancellation, and refunds
GobyMeds' terms of service, last updated June 17, 2026, are specific about how orders work:
- No subscriptions. The terms say GobyMeds doesn't offer subscriptions, memberships, recurring billing, or automatic renewals. Each order is one payment; refills are new orders.
- Payment timing. The terms say payment is due when the order is placed unless checkout says otherwise. The homepage says your card is charged once a prescription is written and shipped. Check what your checkout screen says.
- Full refund if you cancel before clinical review begins, or if a provider doesn't prescribe or the medication can't be dispensed for reasons outside your control.
- $50 review fee (or another amount shown at checkout) may apply if you cancel after clinical review or after costs have been incurred.
- Final sale. Dispensed or shipped medication generally can't be refunded.
Disputes go to binding AAA consumer arbitration under Delaware law, with a 30-day window to opt out after you first accept the terms.
The $25 first-order discount
New patients who sign up through our GobyMeds link can enter code x7X72r at checkout for $25 off a first order. That's our affiliate code, and we earn a commission when it's used. GobyMeds' promotions page says its offers can't be combined with other offers, so you'll get one discount per order. Some of the other codes on that page show end dates in 2025, so don't count on those.
Pharmacy, LegitScript, and the company
Pharmacy
GobyMeds doesn't name its pharmacies. Its homepage says prescriptions go to partner 503A or 503B pharmacies licensed in your state. The terms describe GobyMeds as a technology and administrative platform that doesn't practice medicine, prescribe, dispense, or run a pharmacy, and refer to independent medical groups and independent licensed pharmacies without naming them. Ask support which pharmacy filled your order and check its license; our pharmacy verification guide shows how.
LegitScript and regulatory checks
A third-party review we consulted reports that GobyMeds displays a LegitScript seal; GobyMeds' own homepage text didn't mention certification when we read it. Check LegitScript's public lookup for gobymeds.com yourself. We did not find an FDA warning letter or state enforcement action addressed to GobyMeds in what we reviewed, though that check relied partly on the same third-party review.
The company
The terms name Goby Health LLC, doing business as GobyMeds, with a Dover, Delaware address. The homepage doesn't list served states; it says medication comes from a pharmacy licensed in your state. Confirm your state at intake.
What your second and third bundles may cost
GobyMeds' dose tiers mean your cost changes as your prescriber adjusts your dose. Using its published 3-month prices, here's how a typical path could look. These aren't dosing recommendations; your prescriber decides when and whether to increase.
| Stage | Semaglutide 3-month bundle | Tirzepatide 3-month bundle |
|---|---|---|
| First bundle (starter, first-time patients) | $299, or $274 with $25 off | $399, or $374 with $25 off |
| Lower dose tier | $299 (0.2 to 0.4 mg) | $399 (1.5 to 3 mg/week) |
| Middle dose tier | $399 (0.6 to 1.5 mg) | $499 (up to 9 mg/week) |
| Top dose tier | $499 (1.9 to 2.3 mg) | $599 (11 mg/week or higher) |
At the top tier, GobyMeds tirzepatide works out to about $200 a month. That's in the same range as flat-rate competitors such as HealthRX, whose 3-month tirzepatide subscription runs about $201 a month at any dose. GobyMeds is cheaper at lower doses; the gap narrows as your dose climbs.
No subscription means you manage the timing
The upside of no auto-renewal is that you're never charged for medication you didn't order. The downside is that a refill doesn't start until you place a new order, and a new order may need another clinical review. If you're traveling or switching doses, start the reorder early so you don't end up with a gap between bundles.
Who GobyMeds fits
GobyMeds
GobyMeds fits someone who wants to pay per bundle with nothing renewing in the background, or who wants compounded and brand-name options from the same account. The dose-based pricing rewards patients on lower maintenance doses and costs more at the top of the range.
- No subscription or auto-renewal
- Compounded and brand-name in one place
- Starter bundles at $299 and $399 for three months
- Prices rise with dose
- $50 review fee may apply after clinical review
- Pharmacies not named
Alternatives
- Flat price at every dose: HealthRX keeps one price per plan regardless of dose, with a one-time option that doesn't renew.
- Lowest listed medication price: Biltrx lists lower compounded prices, plus a membership and separate consult fees.
- Budget comparison: our under-$200 roundup compares GobyMeds with NewSelf and Trimi.
Placing your first order
- Start with the starter bundle if you're new. It's priced for first-time patients and covers three months.
- Apply the code at checkout. Enter x7X72r for $25 off your first order.
- Screenshot the checkout page. Note when you're being charged and the total.
- Ask which pharmacy will fill it. Then verify the license.
- Reorder before you run low. Since nothing renews automatically, set a reminder about three weeks before your bundle runs out; our refill-gap guide explains why.
- Know your red flags. Dose changes are your prescriber's call. Severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, signs of dehydration, or an allergic reaction need prompt medical care.
Frequently asked questions
Does GobyMeds auto-renew?
No. GobyMeds' terms say it doesn't offer subscriptions, memberships, recurring billing, or automatic renewals. Each order is a single payment, and refills are placed as new orders.
What is the GobyMeds discount code?
Code x7X72r takes $25 off a first GobyMeds order when you sign up through our link. GobyMeds' promotions can't be combined with other offers.
Can I get a refund from GobyMeds?
You get a full refund if you cancel before clinical review or if no prescription is issued. After review, a $50 fee may apply, and dispensed medication is final sale.
Why does GobyMeds charge more at higher doses?
Its compounded bundles are priced by dose tier, so a higher weekly dose uses more medication and costs more per bundle. Ask your provider what dose you're likely to reach so you can budget for it.
Does GobyMeds sell Zepbound and Wegovy?
Yes. GobyMeds lists Zepbound at $1,399 a month and Wegovy at $1,695 a month. Compare those against the manufacturers' self-pay programs before ordering.
